Adding internal aperture to a pollination model error through LBT

I have a PhD student with an error that appears to be reported by the Model validation component that an internal door added as a surface is mismatched to the “surface” that is the internal wall to which the door is being added.

She has followed the same procedure as documented here How to modify existing apertures from existing model - #2 by chris - honeybee - Ladybug Tools | Forum in order to reliably convert a Design Builder file into a LdyBug file that we trust. There seems no way of direct import that works and gets past model validation.

Deconstructing back to the faces and then the geometry, and then rebuilding faces and apertures and doors gives explicit control of the model. This can then be systematically compared to the years long measured internal temperature and humidity data.

However, for the internal door between rooms the aperture creation component using the imported geometry seems to assign it a ‘type’ as outdoor and the solve adjacency component does not seem to alter the door properties, thus creating a validate model error.

Any thoughts very welcome.
