Hi,

I think I’m facing a similar issue that I can’t seem to resolve, I’ve received the model from a student of mine. The model does not validate due to the following issue:

```auto
Fatal Error
Failed to apply energy properties to the Model: Face construction "b8ac4_Rev" was not found in constructions.
```

I’ve exported a **`.hbjson`** file to locate which faces are misbehaving, 6 of them had this construction applied. Example:

```auto
"identifier":"Room_e4ab931c..Face_b21c2c72","display_name":"Face 15","type":"Face"},{"geometry":{"boundary":[[5.732142332999502,10.690000000000055,5.960000000000001],[8.399999958390254,10.689999999999827,5.96],[8.389999999999418,11.894511595007316,5.959999999999999],[8.200250798734487,12.09195004544199,5.959999999999999],[7.802364285053045,12.34291155315077,5.960000000000001],[7.4267154705448775,12.451684546502293,5.960000000000001],[6.953284529459779,12.451684546502293,5.959999999999999],[6.569656604879128,12.339423698723294,5.959999999999999],[6.175287822858081,12.08805218327052,5.959999999999999],[5.940000000002328,11.828683440343411,5.959999999999999],[5.940000000002328,11.640000000000327,5.959999999999999],[5.732142332999501,11.640000000000327,5.959999999999999]],"holes":[],"plane":{"n":[0.0,-0.0,1.0],"o":[5.732142332999501,8.85013401382639,5.96],"x":[1.0,0.0,0.0],"type":"Plane"},"type":"Face3D"},"face_type":"RoofCeiling","boundary_condition":{"sun_exposure":true,"wind_exposure":true,"view_factor":{"type":"Autocalculate"},"type":"Outdoors"},"properties":{"energy":{"construction":"b8ac4_Rev","type":"FaceEnergyPropertiesAbridged"},"radiance":{"type":"FaceRadiancePropertiesAbridged"},"type":"FacePropertiesAbridged"},"apertures":[],"doors":[],"indoor_shades":[],"outdoor_shades":[],
```

If I’m not mistaken, the room should have the ID **`Room_e4ab931c`** - fortunately the model is small so I went through manually, but either I’m blind or the model does not have a room in it which has the ID **`e4ab931c`**.

Any recommendations on how to solve this without removing all properties and starting again? I would hope to explain what happened but I’m just scratching my head. 🙂

I’ve attached the file.
