Hey everyone,

I’m using the Revit model editor to create the geometry for a building with a large entrance/atrium space that has the exterior glazed walls slanted from the vertical plane towards the ground. Does anyone know how I can model this with the model editor/revit? The full surfaces are planar and the wall is a diagrid structure with glazing in a diamond pattern.

Thanks

👋 Hi @michaelschoemaker, welcome to the forum!

That’s a known limitation of the Revit plugin. It only supports extruded walls.

The best workflow to address this issue is to:

1. Export the rooms as extruded.
2. Export the tilted walls as shade objects.
3. Export the model as HBJSON.
4. Open the model in Rhino using the Rhino plugin, and edit the rooms to add the tilted walls.

Let me know if you need help for going through this process.
