Modelling a semi-open balcony

Hi,

I wish to model this semi-open balcony.
I see three options for modelling this balcony:

  1. As a zone with always open apertures
  2. As a zone with AirBoundary surfaces
  3. As a series of shading surfaces. In this last case, should I use the “Add Shade” or “Add Opaque Faces” ?

The wall between the balcony and the adjacent room is a wall with insulation.

Hi @bluemeadow,

Since the balcony is not conditioned I would model it as shading surfaces.

And you should use the Add Shade command for that.
