Hi All,

I have encoutered an issue with building shade element.

I wan to edit the opacity of the shade surfaces, however everytime I select a shade and click on edit, it either tells me that nothing is selected, or Rhino Crashes.

Any ideal how to fix this?

Hi @ivylili, are you using the latest version of the plugin? This issue was resolved long time ago.

Sure, here’s a refined version of your email:

Hi Mostapha,

Thank you for your help. I’ve upgraded to the latest version, and it has resolved the issue—much appreciated!

I have another question regarding shading properties. I’m working with a perforated metal screen, and I’m unsure how to assign opacity/transmittance to it. I tried editing the transmittance for a solid material, but it didn’t work as expected. The only workaround I found was to make it glass and assign a Visible Light Transmittance (VLT) value, but I’m not certain if this accurately simulates the behavior of a perforated metal screen in terms of internal daylight.

Could you advise on how to approach this?

Thanks again!
