CFD wind analysis (butterfly)

Hi,
There seems to be a bug with Eddy3d, so instead I’m looking into using Butterfly - is currently butterfly working for CFD wind tunnels set ups and is there a workflow which can connect it with Pollination?

It might but we haven’t updated Butterfly for some time now. I have been suggesting people use Eddy3d as the backup option. I know Patrick and his team are working on an update.

No. We currently don’t support running CFD simulations on Pollination. Here is a longer response to a similar question.

Hi @ru1, As I mentioned in the other post, it will take more than just running the study to support Butterfly. You most likely want to monitor the residuals, visualize and explore the results, and so on. That’s why we have been pushing it back until we have more time and resources to start a new project in that size.

Thanks for the quick responses. I’m tempted to wait for Patrick to do the Eddy3d updates. I’m in contact with him.
