Received this error when trying to check out a license for pollination with plugin 2.296.2 and on Revit 2020 model.
I have access to the license pool and know that at least one seat was available when I requested it.
Hi @mmeador,
This is a dependency conflict similar to the ones that we have seen in the past. The oldest version of the Revit plugin that I have installed is Revit 2021. Everything works as expected on my end.
There are two possibilities on why you’re getting that error.
- You have another add-on installed on Revit 2020 that is using an older version of
Annotationsassembly. The easiest way to address this is to disable all the other add-ons and see if that resolves the problem. - Revit 2020 itself uses an older version of
Annotations. If that’s the case, then we have to create a new build but I suspect this to be the reason.
Can you try the first option and let us know how it goes?
I’m also adding @mingbo here to see if he any other suggestions.
I removed all other add-ins except for Pollination.
Received the same error when trying to retrieve a license.
The areas I needed from this model are simple enough to build without Pollination and not very large.
I should not need a special build for this case.
