Is the model editor broken?

Hi all,

Without installing a new revit plugin, I see the model editor has been updated to include some new features (simulation, program type, etc.). But then it seems to fail to work. I import levels and it says it has been imported, nothing happens and the log says “data not found” see log attached.

Hi @contrerasfrancisco,

I see what happened. This is on me! Sorry. We added some new features and in the process we removed replace one of the older methods that is causing the issue that you see. I missed that one before making the public release.

Can you install the latest version of the Revit plugin? That will resolve the problem.

Meanwhile, we are working on pushing a patch to fix the issue. Sorry about that. :man_facepalming:

Got it, no worries. Will give it a try to install the new version.

I will have to wait for the fix, everytime I need IT involvement to install it because it gets blocked by our internal restrictions.

Hi @contrerasfrancisco, can you try now? The issue should be fixed. You only need to close and re-open the Model Editor. No need to close Revit.

Yes, fixed now. Thanks!

Excellent! Technically I could have suggested you using the Pollination Classic instead but it felt wrong. I still highly recommend updating to the latest version which is currently v3.10.0. It comes with several useful new perks.
