Ladybug Plugin Crashes Rhino

I’ve been trying to use Ladybug components in my grasshopper, but nothing places onto the canvas and then it freezes and crashes my Rhino entirely. I downloaded Ladybug from Food4Rhino, and then tried again using Pollination after uninstalling it, but I’m still having the same issue. I got a crash report from Rhino saying “[ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (1816): Not enough quota is available to process this command.” I removed all Ladybug files from my PC and tried again, but I’m still getting this crash.

All my other grasshopper plugins place fine onto the canvas, it is just Ladybug and Pollination.

I’m using:

Rhino 8, Grasshopper 1.0, Ladybug 1.10 from Food4Rhino, and on Windows 11. Everything is updated.

Hi @avschu,

I did a quick search, and this doesn’t seem to be related to Ladybug Tools itself. It looks like this issue has something to do with GHPython components which is what Ladybug Tools use to create the components. See here: Rhino crashing when I try to place GHpython component - Grasshopper - McNeel Forum

That post is the exact issue I’ve been running into; I’ll take a look into fixing the GHPython components
