Hi @robm,
The reason that your simulations on Pollination are being canceled is that you are trying to run them under your personal account (robm) and you have exceeded the storage quota.
You should try to schedule them under a project under the HOK organization. That should resolve this problem.
I agree that our debugging UI can be improved. We have not exposed the message in the UI.
I disagree with this one. Here is the stat for successful runs on Pollination during the last week for more than ~15,000 simulations.
There are cases that the model is invalid or the account runs out of quota and the simulation gets canceled but for cases that the study is set up correctly, and based on the success rate that I copied above, I would consider it very stable and reliable.
As of now, the LBT Grasshopper plugins are more flexible for setting up the metadata, post-processing, and visualizing the results. The main advantage of using Pollination for Ladybug Tools users has been offloading the work on the geometry to the Rhino plugin. You can use the PO Model
component to bring your Pollination model to Grasshopper and use it as an input to Ladybug Tools.
Here are 3 slides that show the before and after.
If you are comfortable with using Grasshopper then you can bypass the need to use the Rhino UI for running the simulations.
Going back to your initial question, if you can reschedule your simulations under an organization project, and provide us with the URL/ID of the failed simulations we can help you debug them on a case-by-case basis.
