I am excited to announce the public release of the Revit plugin version 2.76.4 for some special features and bug fixes. This version includes two of the most requested features for the Revit plugin.
Highlights
- Introducing plenum height in
detailed
geometry calculation mode. With this feature, you can ensure there will be no gap between the floors. See this topic for more details: Apertures are moved vertically in extruded mode - Revit Plugin - Pollination Discourse
-
Introducing unified height in
extruded
geometry calculation mode! This will fix the issue with small differences between the room height as discussed here: Room Height Adjustments Not Exporting Correctly - Revit Plugin - Pollination Discourse and allows you to set a uniform height for the whole level.
You can still overwrite the value for a specific room if needed. The combination of these two features lets you export a clean model from your Revit model quickly.
Notable Fixes
-
In cases where the
level elevation
andproject elevation
were different the apertures were exported in an incorrect elevation. Here is an example. This is now fixed! -
The 3D viewer didn’t work on some machines. This was because of how different versions of PowerShell handle the same command. This is now fixed!
Other Changes
- Added better UI indicators when no room is selected.
- Improved the logging to log every command and the full report for better debugging.
