Not sure if there is a way of already do this, but it would be great if spaces that are separated by room separation lines in revit come through to IESVE as partition hole openings, as this is the most typical reason for using room separation lines in revit.
I hear you but we can’t rely on room separation lines solely because they are used for many different use cases, and in many cases, they are not representing holes.
That said, you can use the Set Air Boundaries command in the Model Editor to set those walls as air boundaries which will be translated to IESVE as holes. Here is a recording that shows the process:
I should also add that we will change the UI to make the process for assigning air boundaries/holes more explicit. Basically, you will tag them with lines and don’t need to run any commands. But that is in the future. For now, you have to follow the process that I showed in the recording.
