Running the model? No Run Simulation

This may be a simple question but how do I run the simulation in Rhion once I validate my mode? the video tutorials are 4 years old, the run simulation button does not exist.

If you have a trial version apparently you cannot create a project online and so you cannot build a model.

I can’t seem to make projects even with buying a rhino seat. I don’t understand how to make buy or select a Compute Package.

Hi Neil,

You are right and our UI doesn’t allow you to create a private project without compute resources, but you can create a project under your user profile which will be enough for running the simulation locally.

Here is a recording that shows the 3 possible workflows:

  1. Exporting the model to an IDF file.
  2. Running the energy simulation inside Rhino.
  3. Loading the model into Grasshopper and running the simulation inside Grasshopper.
