Unable to load Pollination.RH.rhp plug-in: initialization failed

When I open Revit 2022, here’s the error message:
Unable to load Pollination.RH.rhp plug-in: initialization failed

I’ve already installed the latest version of pollination revit plug-in.

Hi @xavierzhou it seems an error from the Rhino. Are you sure it is from Revit? Could you take a screenshot of the error message and how we can recreate the issue?

@mingbo I kept getting this error recently. We tried reinstalling the plugin twice. The latest installation was yesterday (04/01/2025) version 1.57.3.

Ok, do you have Rhino 8 on your machine alone with Rhino 7? And what SR version of Rhino 7 do you have right now?

Only Rhino 7.

Rhino 7 SR32 2023-8-9 (Rhino 7, 7.32.23221.10241)

Ok, are you able to update the Rhino 7 to a newer version?
I have Rhino 7 SR38 from 2024, it works all fine on my side.

We recently had some updates to support Rhino 8’s different .net runtimes, but for Rhino 7 everything remains the same.

We might just need to abandon Rhino 7 and upgrade to 8. Thanks, Mingbo.
