Windows and doors are not appearing in model editor preview or in eQUEST, even though they are appearing in the model editor table. They seem to be exporting fine from Revit. Do you know why this may be happening?
Hi @levisiwek,
Thank you for posting the question here and sharing your model with me. I’ll respond to the email and add @chriswmackey so he can help you while I’m traveling.
Hi @levisiwek .
I’ll take a look at your Revit model as soon as I can but, just looking at your POMF, the windows and doors are there but they are all interior windows and doors.
I imagine that you might not have selected any of the window families associated with exterior windows in this model. I’ll know more once I check your Revit model.
I’m just documenting here for the forum that the issue was that there was a filter applied to the construction phases, which did not include the “New Construction” phase that had the exterior windows.
Once “New Construction” was added to the phase filters, the exterior window families showed up in the Revit connector and could be added to the model in the model editor.
Thanks for posting the topic, @levisiwek . Maybe we can find a way to make the impact of the construction phase filter clearer going forward.
