After fixing some adjacencies and cleaning up my model, this double height space which originally showed as exterior wall is now reading as interior wall all the way up. I’m not sure whether or not this is an issue since when importing the geometry to IES it should be able to identify this wall as an exterior exposure and adjust accordingly? Also not sure if there is a quick fix within model editor
Hi @kevinhertig1,
This will not be a problem in IESVE. IESVE recalculates the boundary condition for each face once you import the GEM file.
See here for an explanation about why you see the top part showing as an interior wall, and the possible solutions to address it.
