I am trawling through LBT and Pollination fora looking for clues as to what versions of installers to advise our tech crew to use for our student computer image for 2026. Your post suggests that I need to look carefully at what Therm version to have installed as well. Is there an ETA on this new functionality - and when might the pollination / LBT release / stable versions happen (recalling that the tech staff need to do local compatibiity testing and ensure remote installation can occur as students may not update anything themselves? (which with Run as Administrator option for HB-PH+, makes more complex)
Last January I avoided recommending any installation of v8 of Therm / Window as " it is not recommended that this BETA Version be used for conventional thermal modeling, as it is still in the testing phase." 12 months later, and with your enhancement almost upon us, I am now wondering. While having both versions available works in a research environment, it does not in a quasi-production, student environment.
