Important Updates
1. Domain Transition Completion
We’ve successfully transitioned all our domains from .cloud to .solutions as previously announced in November. All .cloud domains will redirect to .solutions by the end of January.
Action Required
- If you use the Rhino, Grasshopper, or Revit plugins and haven’t updated recently, you won’t be able to log in through the plugins. To resolve this, simply download and install the latest versions
- No action is needed if you don’t use the CAD plugins or have recently updated them.
2. Phasing Out the Mailing List
We’ve been using the Discourse Announcements category to send emails for new topics, effectively replacing our mailing list. This aligns better with our communication goals and allows for easier information access. We found the mailing list to be less interactive and potentially spammy.
Benefits of Discourse
- Quick Access: Find announcements by category and tags (e.g., Rhino plugin updates, Revit plugin updates).
- Community: Share your thoughts with the community, and read what others think about the announcement.
- Customization: Control your notification settings within Discourse (Configuring Default Notification Settings for Users - Site Management - Discourse Meta) to receive only the updates you’re interested in.
Action Required
- If you have a Discourse account and received this email notification, you’re all set!
- If you don’t want future announcements, adjust your notification settings within Discourse (link above).
